Hours of YouTube. Read in five minutes.

Kuapy reads the new videos from the channels you follow and hands you the useful parts every morning, with timestamps that jump to the exact moment. Watching something now? The Chrome extension puts the takeaways right beside the video.

The mountain weekend I’d do again

Trail & Tide · 12:40

TravelTrail & Tide

A slow weekend wins: Trail & Tide says leave time for the lake, the village and the ridge walk.

  • 1:20Seen and done: The lake trail, the old village and the ridge viewpoint at sunset.
  • 4:15Cost: €45 return for the cable car and €120 a night for a guesthouse.
  • 6:40Practical: Take the first bus up and pack a rain layer; the ridge clouds over by mid-afternoon.
  • 9:10Verdict: Trail & Tide recommends two days, not one, and skipping the summit café queue.

The arithmetic

You don’t need to watch everything. You need to know what’s in it.

Move the slider to the number of channels you follow. The estimate assumes about 1.6 new videos per channel a week at around 17 minutes each, and about 1.4 minutes to read each summary.

The morning digest

Yesterday’s uploads, one short read.

Every channel you chose, every new video, condensed to the parts you would have paused for. Scan it in minutes; open only what deserves your evening.

Three digest cards, closed: Trail & Tide, “The mountain weekend I’d do again”; Everyday Test, “AeroTone One: comfort or compromise?”; Level Journal, “Skybound Vale: worth your weekend?”. Each shows the channel, the length, a one-line intro and “Read takeaways”.
Sample digest. Channels shown are fictional examples.
  • “I follow 40 channels and used to skim titles all evening. Now the key takeaways from every new video are waiting every morning, and I only open the two or three worth my time.”

    Marta, product manager

  • “The side panel is the feature I use most. A 25-minute review becomes five lines with the verdict, and one click on a timestamp takes me to the exact moment.”

    Daniel, software engineer

  • “I read my digest on the way to work and open one or two videos at night. It only touches the channels I pick, nothing to install, and it saves me about an hour a day.”

    Sofia, teacher

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

What exactly does Kuapy do?
It takes the new videos from the YouTube channels you choose and turns them into a short digest you can read each morning. Each takeaway carries a timestamp that opens the video at that exact moment. With the optional Chrome side panel, the same takeaways appear next to the video you are watching.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. Sign in with Google and start on the Free plan, which stays free; no card is asked for. Premium and Super add more room when you want it.
What can Kuapy do with my YouTube account?
Only read. Kuapy asks for read-only access to your YouTube subscriptions, to build your digest. It cannot post, comment, like, subscribe or unsubscribe, and your subscriptions stay exactly as they are. You can remove its access at any time in your Google Account permissions, and email us to delete your account and your data.
Do I need Chrome?
No. The daily digest works in any modern browser, on your phone or your computer. The Chrome extension is optional: it adds the summary of the video you’re watching, beside it, in Chrome on desktop. Get it from the Chrome Web Store.
Which languages are supported?
Kuapy and its summaries come in 14 languages, among them English, French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Hindi and Arabic.
Can I listen instead of read?
Not yet. A daily audio episode of your digest is coming soon to Premium and Super: five minutes on Premium and ten on Super.
What is the launch offer?
Join by 31 December 2026 and your first 3 months of Premium are half price once billing opens. Until then every plan is free. Prices are announced before anything is charged, and you can stay on Free.
